Online ordering hours

Settings → Online store → Online ordering hours sets when customers can place an order on your online store. Your catalog stays open to browse at any time — the hours only decide when an order can be placed. Times are in your business’s own time zone.

You need the Manage settings permission (owners have it) to change them.

Each day of the week has its own row:

  • Add hours to give a day an opening and closing time, for example 09:00 to 17:30. Use Add another for a split day, such as a lunch service and a dinner service.
  • Turn on Closed for a day you don’t take online orders at all.
  • Leave a day blank and it has no limit — customers can order at any time that day.

Order cutoff stops taking orders a set number of minutes before each closing time — useful when the kitchen needs time to finish the last order. Leave it blank for no cutoff. With hours of 09:00 to 17:30 and a 30-minute cutoff, the last order can be placed just before 17:00.

For a late-night service, enter a closing time that’s earlier than the opening time — for example 22:00 to 02:00. That window runs from 22:00 until 02:00 the next morning. (The same opening and closing time, such as 00:00 to 00:00, means a full 24 hours.)

The night’s service belongs to the day it started. So with Monday set to 22:00–02:00:

  • An order at Monday 23:30 goes through.
  • An order at Tuesday 01:00 goes through too — it’s still Monday night’s service.
  • From Tuesday 02:00 (less any cutoff), Tuesday’s own hours decide.

This holds even when the next day is marked Closed. “Closed Tuesdays” means no Tuesday service starts — it doesn’t cut Monday night’s service short at midnight. If you don’t want orders after midnight, set Monday to close at 00:00 instead.

The cutoff applies to the real closing time: with 22:00–02:00 and a 30-minute cutoff, the last order is just before 01:30 on Tuesday. A cutoff of two hours or more ends that window on Monday night instead.

Under each late-night window, the screen spells out what it does — for example “Runs into Tuesday until 02:00. Tuesday is marked closed — that stops new Tuesday service, it does not end Monday night’s.” — so you can check a setting before you save it.
