Locations
Settings → Locations lists the storefronts where you sell. Add a location when you open another storefront, and archive one when you close it — its sales history is kept either way. This is also where you tidy up each location’s names.
You need the Manage settings permission (owners have it) to add, edit, or archive a location.
What you’ll see
Section titled “What you’ll see”The list shows each location’s:
- Legal name — your registered business name for that location.
- Display name — the shorter, friendly name shown around the app.
- Status — Active or Archived. Active locations sort to the top; archived ones sit below, greyed out.
Add a location
Section titled “Add a location”Press Add location, fill in the Legal name and Display name, and press Save. The new storefront is ready to sell from straight away.
Edit a location
Section titled “Edit a location”Press Edit on the row, then change the Legal name or Display name and press Save. Both names are required, so you can’t leave either one blank.
Archive a location
Section titled “Archive a location”To close a storefront, press Archive on its row. It stops being sold from, but all its past sales and reports stay put; press Unarchive to reopen it later. You must keep at least one active location, so the last one can’t be archived.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Restaurant stores also see a Default service type here (for example Dine-in or Takeout) that pre-fills new sales for that location.
